A calm, steady space to think, feel, and make sense of things

About Helen
I’m Helen Green, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering therapy in Singapore and online.
Originally from the UK, I’ve been based in Singapore since 2013. I bring together over 20 years’ experience across education, pastoral care, counselling, and psychotherapy.
Throughout my career, I’ve found myself drawn to people whose struggles aren’t always visible from the outside.
Again and again, I met people who appeared to be coping, but internally felt overwhelmed, stretched, or caught in their own thoughts.
Anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, and the pressure of holding everything together often sat quietly beneath the surface.
That understanding eventually led me into counselling and psychotherapy and continues to shape how I work today.
My approach
Calm
Sessions are steady and non-pressured. You don’t need the right words, a clear problem, or any sense of where to begin.
Collaborative
We work together to understand what’s been building, at a pace that feels manageable and supportive.
Integrative
Grounded in Person-Centred Therapy and drawing on CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches where helpful.
What to expect when we work together
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding you.
Clients often describe the space as calm, thoughtful, and deeply understanding - somewhere they feel heard rather than analysed, and supported without pressure.
